Of course
everyone's first question is why raw food? The answer is simple and
natural, but if you are feeding your pet commercial pet food (which has
been cooked to death) then your animal is not getting the kind of diet
they really need to be happy and healthy and disease free. So the answer to why raw is animals don't need their food cooked. Even though we have domesticated our animals their stomachs and digestive tracts are still the same as their wild cousins. Eating a raw diet is natural for them and very beneficial to their health. Animals in the wild have healthy digestive systems because they eat a variety of foods including prey flesh, internal organs and stomach contents. The combination of these foods provides a diet that is rich in high quality protein, enzymes, vegetation and vitamins. Raw foods help your pet maintain a healthy pH and enzyme level in their stomach and digestive track. This in turn helps your animal to maintain a naturally strong immune system which helps prevent opportunistic and degenerative diseases from attacking their bodies. A great raw diet uses certified organic meats, certified organic grains, vegetable and herbs all human grade and USDA certified to insure that no unwanted by products are introduced into you pet's diet. We are all animal lovers ourselves and think that our furry friends deserve nothing but the best! So if you really want to keep your best friend at their optimal health level and don't mind spending a little more for the best, then raw is the right diet for your pet. We all want to provide the best for our animals. Why is Raw the Best? |

beginning of raw feeding, you could be conservative on the side of more
bone. A suggestion of 20+% . Once the stools straighten out, you can
adjust or reduce bone to protein. I have found that buying raw from the local grocery store is superior in many ways. Try turkey, rabbit, goat, beef heart or lean pork. |
